Lakin, öte yandan buraya falan bin km öteden yaprağım, buddyim Coşi lafa tuttu; içki dedi, Sami dedi, blog dedi, Test of English as a Fucking Language (TOEFL) dedi.

edit: parantez içleri olmamış be gülüm.

Back from holidays

Sitting in Verners I thought that it would be better to leave the beer and popcorn and write something here. On Easter holidays I, João, Maria and Diego went to a very nice trip to north Scandinavia. We left Sunday evening and came one week later, Monday morning.
Well, what can I say, it was the best trip I have ever gone. Knowing that in the near future probably I won't have another opportunity to see beautiful Scandinavia again I tried to enjoy it, and honestly speaking it was even better than I was expecting.

I put many pictures on Picasa web album (however still i have to take pictures from Joao and Maria who is in Spain now drinking Sangria and having siesta):

Anyway, first we went to Stockholm over Gothenburg. "Stockholm is one of the most beautiful cities i have ever see." I wrote this sentence before writing that we have spent 3 days there + 1 more day after Helsinki. All the day walking and partying at night we got pretty exhausted. Then we got on a SHIP to go to Helsinki. Well, you will see on the pictures if you check the link above, this was a damn SHIP, not a little 'ferry'. We spent 3 days in Helsinki in a cozy hostel in the center of the city. Finish people are great, city is very nice, gay bar was cool (did i say something wrong)... chicks in the gay bar were awesomefuckingtastic (guys(!) had hypnotizing beautiful eyes, yes they had).

The way back was fun also. We spent great time on a boat (fuckin' ship). Arriving to Copenhagen I felt like comning back home.

Night at IHK

I have spent last night in the School!! All the night. I have to say that at night this place is even better, hehe. Dark, scary, cold... You hear some noices from the dark corridor, and hear how the wind blows outside...

Sorry for delay

Wow it seems like it's nearly one month how I am not writing anything here. First of all sorry about it. It was not because forgot or get bored of this stuff, no, it was because I had so many things to do during this month. I will tell briefly what happened since my last post:
-it snowed, snowed, snowed.. not half-a-meter but almost.
-we had riots here, probably you have heard of them because they were showing the situation all over the world.
-then sunny days came... i dont know, it's kinda strange but for 1 week we have sun most of the day. Ok, it's still cold and windy but it is great to see SUN again.
-my roommate's (Joao's) girlfriend, Mariana, came. Nice Portuguese people! Then they went back to Portugal and i was alone in my room for 10 days. Well, it's pretty boring to be alone here.
-Joao came back.

Da tak

Last night it started to snow and today it was snowing all the day. We have no idea when it will stop, at least someone said that next week it wont be snowing. This someone also said that till the end of this week it will be half-a-meter. (hope it was a really bad forecast) Next friday we have an excurtion of Copenhagen's night life, bars, pubs... They will be taking us to some night clubs, in total we will see 5 clubs. There are so many things to see in this city that they decided to have a drink first. It is a new Danish way I think, first drink then work. Anyway, good news, the beer and the other stuff will be cheep on this very special night.

This pictures are from the Intro Party in Verners Baggard, a student bar in the school.

Locations

This is a Google Earth pic of the place where I live. It takes about 15 minutes to go to the IHK (the place where I study). To go to Copenhagen we have to take eather the bus 350S or an S train from Ballerup Centret. By bus Copenhagen is 40 mins away while by train it is only 20-30 minutes. Albertslund is the place where Irkin and Esra lives, and it is more on south, for about 10-15 minutes on bus from my place. Damper live closer to Copenhagen, in a place called Herlev; Engin lives near the school. Mehmet and Ali (another Turkish guy from Istanbul) live Kursist, in the same dormitory as me.

So lets go

This is appearantly my first post from Denmark. So after spending 18 days here, for sure I have many things to tell and to show. I arrived on 2nd of February in the evening, (in Turkish time it would be night because it was compleatly dark already.) The first night I stayed with Ahmet (Irkin), another guy from my university and who came a couple of days before me.
Denmark is a country of bicycles (this is how they call themselfs) and guess what, the next day we went to an auction of old bikes found by the polise. To make long word shorter, Irkin, Damper(Huseyin) and I bought 3 bikes for a realtively cheep prise. Of course all of the bikes were compleatly useless so we spent a bit more money to make them work/look better. In total, all the money we spent on these bikes were like max 1/4 of the price we would spend if we have bought brand new ones.
The 2 weeks of studies passed and we are still trying to get used to the educational system here. Actually I have to say that the lesson are not so easier than we have in Turkey. The only thing is that they are compleatly different. The lessons here are based on more practical manner (mostly computers) rather than the theory. So this is our week point.
The dorm in Ballerup (Kursisthotellet) is quite funny. You can find here people from Finland, Poland, Chilie, Spain, Portugal, USA, China, Belgium, Turkey, Holland... this is really nice because it is a great opportunity to meet new people.
So anyway, feel like I wrote to much for the first time. I will be adding things here often and tell more.
For now, take care.
